CAROLE BULEWSKI
Carole Bulewski is a multi-faceted and accomplished author. She began her author career writing in her native French – Carole was born and raised in the south of France. She now writes almost exclusively in English and lives in London.
Carole’s writing weaves an almost mystical tale of fairy, folklore fantasy mingled with a darker undercurrent of urban despair.
The Little God of Queen's Park is the third of a trilogy of novels exploring Iris Low’s journey through a life entwined with pagan folklore and Iris’s own imagination which creates for her a parallel world that is her shield against a truth she is not ready to face.
Having started writing at the tender age of seven, Carole is a prolific author, so you will be able to fill your bookshelves with the special magic that Carole conveys as her words cast a spell across the page.
Carole has also written and illustrated a children’s book, although her mythical, magical, and metaphysical novels are Carole’s preferred genre.
When she is not writing, you can probably find her singing because Carole is also a member of urban baroque group Firefay, who have so far released two albums, and are currently recording their next album. A single was released in 2018.
In 2020, Carole signed with Dream's Edge Publishing. Her first novel, The Piper and The Fairy, was followed by Water of Life and the final book of the trilogy, The Little God of Queen’s Park.

THE LITTLE GOD OF QUEEN'S PARK OUT NOW
In a not-so-distant world destroyed by an environmental disaster, a creature by the name of Lilith observes the daily lives of people forced to live together in what used to be a family house in Queen’s Park, North London. How they are trying to adapt to the new world order, to having lost everything, to being forced to do demanding manual work, and, most of all, how they interact with each other.
But who is Lilith, or rather, what kind of creature is she to be able to read the innermost thoughts of the people living in the house? Could she really be a tri-millennial spirit first bound to this plane of existence by her witch mother in ancient Jerusalem, as she claims?
Events take an unexpected and rather sinister turn when a new group of people who need rehousing after the collapse of a hastily constructed high-rise building come to the Queen’s Park house. Winston, their leader, is a preacher who announces the Second Coming for the virtuous people who will follow his teachings. But is he really who he pretends to be? Are his plans truly for the happiness of mankind? And how does he know so much about Lilith?
REFLECTIONS ON WATER OF LIFE
OUT NOW
The Reflections On Water of Life is a companion art book to the novel Water of Life. The artwork is mostly inspired by the themes developed in the book, and the setting of the novel, namely Glasgow and the Hebrides. Most of the artwork in this book is from the talented author, musician and artist Carole Bulewski, along with a little help from Graeme Parker, who also wrote poems inspired by Water of Life.
The book mixes excerpts from the novel with original artwork inspired by the story to give a deeper reflection on the book Water of Life
WATER OF LIFE OUT NOW
Musician Sampson Maxwell has demons to fight.
Alcoholism, drug abuse, depression and anxiety have all conspired to give him such low self-esteem that he has retreated into a world of his own making.
Fighting a ghost from his past is pushing him to his limits.
While on tour in Scotland with his new band, he realises things are worse than he had imagined. Trying to escape the horrors, he finds himself on a remote island off the coast of Glasgow, in the Chai Community. A community whose aim is to help lost souls like him rebuild themselves. Though Sampson starts suspecting there might be more to them than just another crack-pot New Age community.
Carole Bulewski’s second novel, ‘Water of Life’, explores the darkness within and without, inspired by Lovecraft and gothic novels, pagan folklore and urban despair, and is a must-read.
MUSIC OF THE COSMOS OUT NOW
“We must discover the Music of the Cosmos. "With these words, visionary, depraved and intensely artistic Gaius piques the curiosity of Sam and his friends, young lads from Kent who have come to Swinging London in search of musical success.
In their quest for the otherworldly Music of the Cosmos, the boys leave London for Paris, and experiment with the help of psychotropic drugs designed by a mysterious patron whom only Gaius has ever met.
While travelling through rural France to escape the madness of the May 1968 revolution, events take a turn for the tragic – and the supernatural. Forty-five years later, Sam recounts the story. But has his use of chemical substances irredeemably altered his perception of reality?
